Dr. Dennis Gutierrez, Physical Therapist
Dr. Gutierrez is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a Rigo Concept Teacher and Therapist
He received his initial training on Rigo Concept (BSPTS) with Manuel Rigo, MD in Barcelona, Spain and advanced training with Dr Rigo and Beth Janssen, PT in the Netherlands.
He is certified in the Schroth Method at the Katharina-Schroth-Asklepios-Klinik in Germany with Axel Hennes, PT.
He has the basic SEAS (scoliosis treatment method from Italy) certification with Michele Romano, PT and Lyon Method training, which is a scoliosis treatment method from France, with John Claude de Mauroy, MD.
With a background in physical therapy since 1997, he has been specializing in pediatric physical therapy for more than 17 years. Dr. Gutierrez has been helping patients with scoliosis, kyphosis, and posture-related problems since 2014. Lastly, Dr Gutierrez is one of the accredited Rigo Concept (BSPTS) Teachers for the Asia-Pacific Region.
His Education and Other Training
Dr. Dennis Gutierrez graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1997 from De La Salle University-Health Science's Institute in the Philippines and a Post-Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy with concentration in Pediatric and Neurologic Physical Therapy in 2011 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (known now as Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey). He is currently pursuing his Master in Business Administration in Healthcare from Northern Arizona University.
He is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (Pediatrics) from the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association, a Credentialed Clinical Instructor of the American Physical Therapy Association; and a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (Pediatrics).
